Our Story

In early 2019, our lives changed drastically. Cassidy, our then 3 year old daughter, was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer.

Cassidy's stuffed animals were a source of comfort to her while undergoing chemotherapy. Occasionally during treatment, Cassidy handed out stuffed animals and toys to children on her oncology floor. She wanted to make sure that other children were comforted as well.

Cassidy is THRIVING! She is a happy, joyful, vibrant little girl who is the life of the party wherever she goes.

We are truly blessed and grateful for the phenomenal support that family, friends, and various non-profit organizations provided to us during this difficult time. Janine has made it her mission to "pay it forward" by being a source of love, strength, and support to other families experiencing the harsh reality of pediatric life-threatening illnesses. Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation is our way of bringing joy to these brave children.
